AIES User Experience: From Discovering Local Businesses to Building a Digital Investment Portfolio
A look inside the proposed customer-side experience of AIES — Hafsaamu's Economic Investment System.
Introduction
What if people could discover local businesses, understand their financial performance, explore their growth potential, and participate in business opportunities through a single digital platform?
This is one of the experiences AIES aims to develop.
AIES (AI Economic Investment System) is a research-stage project under Hafsaamu. Its long-term vision is to explore how technology, business financial data, machine learning, and intelligent economic allocation can work together to create a more connected business ecosystem.
To demonstrate this vision, we are developing a customer-side application prototype.
The proposed application is designed around a simple journey:
Create an account → Discover businesses → Explore financial information → Understand business performance → Participate in investment opportunities → Monitor your portfolio.
This article explains how the proposed user experience works, from the first application screen to portfolio management.
1. Getting Started: Creating an AIES Account
The user journey begins with a simple welcome screen.
Users can create an account or sign in to an existing account using their email address or phone number.
The onboarding experience is designed to be simple and accessible, without unnecessary complexity.
After registration, users proceed to profile setup.
2. Building a User Profile
Before accessing the complete platform, users will be able to configure their personal profiles.
The proposed profile setup includes three main sections.
Personal Information
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Preferred location
Identity Verification
A future version may support identity verification through appropriate documents and regulated verification processes.
Banking and Payment Information
Users may eventually be able to connect supported bank accounts or UPI details for eligible transactions and withdrawals, subject to applicable financial regulations and security requirements.
The objective is to create a structured account experience that can support future platform functionality.
Note: These capabilities are planned features. The current demonstration does not collect or verify real identity or banking information.
3. Home Dashboard: Discover Businesses Around You
After completing the onboarding experience, users arrive at the AIES home dashboard.
The dashboard is designed to make local business discovery easier.
Based on the user's selected location, AIES will display a list of businesses available in that area.
For example, a user selecting Silchar, Assam, could explore different business categories:
- Food and Beverage
- Retail Stores
- Grocery Shops
- Hospitality
- Local Services
- Other Businesses
Each business listing may display relevant information, such as:
- Business name and category
- Business location
- Historical financial performance
- Revenue and expense indicators
- Historical profitability
- Business activity status
The purpose is to help users understand businesses through structured information rather than relying entirely on advertisements or promotional descriptions.
Users can also explore businesses in other locations through the search feature.
4. Explore and Select Businesses
The Explore section provides a dedicated business discovery experience.
Users can search by:
- Business name
- Location
- Business category
They can browse different businesses, compare available information, and select businesses that interest them.
For example, a user may discover a local cafe, grocery store, or retail business and open its detailed profile.
The objective is to make business information accessible and easier to understand.
5. Business Profile: Understanding Financial Performance
Every participating business will have its own detailed profile.
This is one of the most important parts of the proposed AIES experience.
Instead of displaying only a business name and description, the platform aims to present structured business performance information.
A business profile may include:
Business Overview
- Business introduction
- Location and category
- Business activity
- Available financial indicators
Financial History
- Monthly revenue
- Operating expenses
- Net profit or loss
- Historical financial trends
- Business performance comparisons
This information will help users understand the historical performance of a business before considering any participation.
AIES aims to make business-related information more transparent and accessible.
6. Machine Learning Forecast: Understanding Future Possibilities
One of the planned premium capabilities of AIES is its Machine Learning Forecast module.
Traditional financial reports mainly explain what has already happened.
AIES aims to explore how machine learning can help analyze historical business data and estimate possible future business scenarios.
The proposed ML module may provide:
- Future revenue estimates
- Potential profitability trends
- Business performance forecasts
- Financial risk indicators
- Different prediction periods
- Model confidence and performance information
Users may be able to explore different forecast periods, such as:
- 1 Month
- 3 Months
- 6 Months
- 12 Months
For example, a user exploring a cafe could see its historical revenue trend alongside an illustrative machine learning forecast.
The goal is not to promise future profits.
The goal is to provide additional analytical information that can support better understanding and decision-making.
Important: ML forecasts are estimates, not guarantees. The actual predictive performance of AIES will need to be validated using real-world business data.
The Machine Learning Forecast is planned as a premium feature in the future commercial version.
7. Investment Interface: Participating in Business Opportunities
AIES is also exploring a proposed investment participation interface.
After reviewing a business profile and its available financial information, eligible users may eventually be able to explore participation opportunities.
The proposed interface includes:
- Selected business information
- Available participation amount
- Minimum participation amount
- Maximum permitted amount
- Investment summary
- Relevant terms and conditions
For demonstration purposes, the prototype uses ₹100 as an illustrative starting amount.
The actual minimum and maximum amounts would depend on the final business model, applicable legal framework, permissions, and the specific opportunity.
Before any real investment functionality is introduced, the platform would require appropriate legal and regulatory structuring, investor protections, payment infrastructure, and compliance processes.
No real investment is possible through the current prototype.
8. Investment Confirmation and Digital Records
In the proposed future application, a completed and legally supported transaction would generate a digital record.
The user experience is designed to include:
- Transaction reference
- Business details
- Transaction amount
- Transaction date
- Digital confirmation
- Relevant transaction documentation
Users may receive transaction-related documents through their registered email address.
A downloadable invoice or transaction statement would also be available within the application.
These records would help users maintain an organized history of their activities on the platform.
The current prototype only demonstrates this experience using fictional data.
9. My Assets: Managing Your Business Portfolio
After participating in eligible business opportunities, users would be able to monitor their activities through the My Assets section.
This section is designed as a personal portfolio dashboard.
It may display:
Portfolio Overview
- Total participation amount
- Number of active business positions
- Historical portfolio activity
- Business-wise allocation
Individual Business Records
Users can select any business in their portfolio to explore its available financial information and historical performance.
Daily Monitoring
Users may revisit the application to observe updated business information and relevant performance indicators as new verified data becomes available.
The objective is to create a centralized place where users can monitor their business-related participation.
10. Investment History and User Profile
The application will also include dedicated sections for personal account management.
Investment History
Users can review their previous transactions, digital records, and available business participation history.
User Profile
Users can manage their personal information, account settings, verification status, and supported payment details.
Together, these features aim to provide a complete and organized customer-side experience.

Our Vision
AIES is being developed around a broader question:
Can technology and machine learning help create a more intelligent, transparent, and connected business economy?
We believe that understanding business performance, improving access to structured information, and developing better economic decision-making tools can be important steps toward exploring that possibility.
The customer application is one part of this vision.
The next step is to develop the business-side infrastructure, establish real-world data partnerships, validate the technology, and build a sustainable business model.
AIES — Equal Profits. Smarter Economy.
Research. Technology. Economic Innovation.
